Liang Changxing (梁长兴) – 7 Times China National Xingyiquan Champion (from 1981 to 1987)
Location: Xian City, Shanxi Province, China.
Date: 1985
Location: Jinan City, Shandong Province, China.
Date: 1986
Most of the traditional Xingyiquan practitioners would notice that Liang’s Xingyiquan is not from a traditional orthodox school, it contained a lot of Competitive Wushu features and little of the traditional chinese internal martial arts characteristics. The taolu (form / kata) performed by Liang was nicely composed which contains all of the moves form Wuxingquan, Shierxing and some rare moves of traditional Xingyiquan forms, overall, it is an excellent taolu for demonstration purposes.
